My husband was having stomach pain and a fever for a couple of days. After about 2 days he was in so much pain I told him he was going to hospital and he could ride with me or in an ambulance. He finally agreed...what's wrong with men! Anyway, I'm glad I made him go because it turns out his colon had ruptured. He had an infected diverticula. The infection was contained inside his colon by a thin layer of fat. His surgeon was shocked and told him that he'd never seen anything like it before. Of course, by that time he was feeling much better because they'd given him pain medications. My husband replied, "I knew there was a reason for me being fat," and chuckled. He was given no food for three days....and finally on the fourth day he was given beef broth. He was slowly introduced to solid foods and finally released. He continued antibiotics for another couple of weeks. It's been 4 months since he had this happened and he's been eating more regular and healthier.
He use to eat one very large meal every day. He was told by his surgeon that he should eat more smaller meals to maintain a constant pressure in the colon. I've been searching the internet for information about colon cleaning. Should someone with a problem like this clean their colon. If so, what type of product would you recommend. I think the Master Clean system is great. Beyonce Knowles used the Master Clean system and lost 20 pounds before starring in Dream Girls.
