I'd like to [weigh in] on PETA's recent "Save the Whales" billboard. Personally, its simply distasteful. PETA should simply focus on what's really important — the animals. Looking at something like the Pedigree Dog Food campaigns may be more effective. I buy their dog food because they give a portion of their sales back to help animals. What does PETA do? I don't really know what they do. I don't think putting up a billboard that degrades humans [fat or not], parading beautiful girls wearing lettuce-leafed bikinis proves much of anything.
In the future, I hope PETA starts thinking differently in their advertising efforts, in order to provide a clear message that will motivate people to change. We're not in high-school anymore PETA, picking on fat people is, well —unethical, isn't it. I think it is. I'm pretty sure fat people are reading your message loud and clear!
