Mac for College Program

I just bought a MacBook Pro for my daughter. She's starting college next week...woo hoo! I ordered the laptop online a apple.com I also signed up to receive the free ipod with free engraving. So I ordered the laptop with free ipod and proceeded to checkout. Did you know you have to buy the ipod and then wait to receive a rebate check. Wouldn't it be easier if they just sent you the "FREE" Ipod? It's clearly spelled out on their site, I just didn't read it. I just went with the advertising photo [shown]. What's really important is that my daughter loves her new macbook and her new iPod touch [and it's engraved with her name]....and that's pretty cool. Oooops, hope I don't get in trouble for snagging this photo off apple's website....Hey, all in all it's a pretty good deal even if you do have to wait for your rebate check.
